Sushi Party / Open Microphone Night

You will have the chance to practice your English and Spanish with many native English and Spanish speakers. The native English speakers are from different places around the world, so you will be able to practice with people that have different accents. California, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, Canada, England, Australia, Scotland, and China.

All proceeds will be donated to http://www.fundacionpoderjoven.org/espanol/, a children’s foundation here in Medellin, in order to take them to the water park.

What do we do at the Sushi Party / Open Mic Night?
- Hosts: Brent Knowles (American), John Knox (Virginia, USA), Andrew Macia (Colombian/American)
- Meet people, make new friends, have conversation.
- Listen to people display their talents on stage.
- Eat as much sushi as you want.
- Practice English/Spanish with native speakers.
- This event is FREE, but if you want to eat sushi you must pay $15,000.

About the Medellin Buzz English and Spanish conversation club
A practicar ingles en Medellin! – Medellin Buzz English and Spanish conversation club is for English and Spanish as a Second Language students. This is your chance to practice with native speakers. All events are free, you will only be asked to pay for food/drinks at the location of the event. Our goal is to integrate native English speakers with native Spanish speakers in a fun and dynamic way.
Let’s practice Spanish in Medellin! – El club de conversación de Medellin Buzz es un grupo dedicado a practicar ingles y español en Medellin. En este grupo se practica ingles y español con nativos. Hello, my name is Andrew Macia and I am the founder of the Medellin Buzz. I am an advanced level English teacher here in Medellin, and I also have a website development, and marketing company which I run from home.
